Effects of ageing on our skin
As we age, the skin of the neck and face begins to loosen and sag with a change in texture making it look weathered. Factors that contribute to this include sun exposure, poor diet and stress.
Superficial peels accelerate shedding of old skin cells. Although the skin naturally replaces these old skin cells with new ones that process slows down as we age. Peels are very beneficial for rejuvenating the skin and stimulating the growth of new skin cells and all signs of ageing can be improved.
Treatments
There are so many treatments that can be used to improve the skin and many creams and lotions claim to do so. However, given that our skin continually regenerates, leaving a layer of dead skin which is usually the main cause for dull looking skin making it prone to causing other skin issues.
Skin Peels
This is where skin peels come into play. Skin peels help to not only remove this dead layer of skin, but help replenish the underlying new skin which helps to rejuvenate and help bring back that luscious, bright skin you so dearly missed.
It can be used for wrinkles and lines, acne, hyper-pigmentation, sun damage or if you just want to get that fresh revitalised look.
